Default Panel lights remain ON

We have an EW4200D installed on our sailboat. It is two years old with about 600 hours of operation.

Yesterday, I had to clear a restriction in the raw water system to avoid exhaust overheating and resulting unit shutdown. After clearing the lines, the generator ran normally for about two hours. However, when we shut it down, all of control panel lights went out as normal, but once the engine stopped both the Water and Exhaust lights came back on with a faint glow. We tried to get them to turn off by restarting and stopping the generator with no success. This morning, instead of a soft glow both lights remain on and bright (normal intensity). We have the upgraded control panel with the ship/shore power switch and hour meter. Does anyone have a suggestion on what is causing this problem and how to solve it?

Thanks,
Roy Canon

Default Panel lights

It would appear that you have a ground problem. Your post says you have two lights. This does not sound like an Entec West generator. I suggest you call Entec West, 503 624-7118 for help.
